During the “Safe and Healthy Homeland” preventive measures conducted in the Tashkent region, law enforcement prevented another case of human trafficking. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the region.

According to the information, a woman identified as Kh.T. (born in 1971), a resident of Angren, deceived a 22-year-old girl named Z.A. (born in 2003), whom she knew personally. She convinced the girl to travel with her to earn money and was caught at Tashkent International Airport while attempting to take her to St. Petersburg, Russia, for prostitution.

Authorities revealed that all travel expenses were paid by a woman known as “Zulya,” residing in St. Petersburg. In exchange, the girl was to engage in prostitution, and Kh.T. had agreed to receive payment from “Zulya” for delivering the girl.

A criminal case has been opened against Kh.T. by the Investigation Department under the Kibray District Internal Affairs Department under Article 135 (human trafficking), Part 2, Subparagraphs "a" and "z" of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are currently underway.

It should be noted that earlier, as part of the “Safe Zone” operation, another individual was detained at Tashkent International Airport while attempting to send two girls to Turkey under false promises of high earnings.
