170 "mini-polyclinics" will start working in densely populated areas of Tashkent.  This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

It is noted that this project was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Tashkent city administration.

As part of the "Tashkent Experience" project, it is planned to establish 170 medical centers in an area with 10,800 apartment buildings in 12 districts of the city.  It is also intended to bring medical services closer to 540,000 residents.

This project is based on the experience of the Yunusabad district.  A medical container was installed in the "Sobirabad" neighborhood of the district.

The medical center is equipped with all necessary medicines, and medical supplies, including equipment such as an oxygen cylinder.  A general practitioner and 2 nurses will provide medical services to the population in the "small hospital" working from 8:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m.

According to the information, within the framework of the project, 40 containers will be equipped and handed over to 12 multidisciplinary polyclinics and 70 family polyclinics in the capital by the end of the year. They will be installed next to the densely populated high-rise buildings of the capital.  In the next six months, 170 such neighborhood medical centers will serve the city's residents.

Also, the "Tashkent Experience" project is not limited to this.  Within it:

• the establishment of "Health Schools" in the offices of 579 neighborhood citizens' assemblies in the capital;
• encourage citizens who follow a healthy lifestyle and achieve high results in this regard;
• introduction of an "online patronage" service to connect patients with specialists through telemedicine is also planned.

It is reported that the project, which will be implemented in the capital as a pilot, will be implemented in other regions of the country after six months, after analyzing the results.
