17-year-old without license overturns police car in Tashkent

On September 12, a traffic accident occurred between a Spark and a police car in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent, the capital’s Road Traffic Safety Department reported.

According to the information, at 00:45 a.m., a citizen born in 2008, who did not have a driver’s license and was operating a Spark without state license plates, was driving along Bunyodkor Street. While turning sharply from the 3rd lane to the 1st lane onto Chopon Ota Street, he collided with a Lacetti service vehicle driven by a police officer in the 1st lane.

As a result of the accident, the Spark overturned. Both drivers were given first aid, though no serious injuries were reported.

The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs stated that an investigation is underway by the Traffic Safety Department.

It is worth noting that earlier, a traffic accident involving a patrol car of the traffic safety service occurred in the Ahangaran district of Tashkent region.
