Damas car driven by drunk driver plunges into canal in Tashkent region

On May 26, a Damas vehicle plunged into a canal in Olmaliq, located in the Tashkent region, as reported by the Traffic Safety Department of Tashkent region MDIA press service.
The accident occurred around noon. The driver, M.S., born in 1990 and residing in Olmaliq, lost control of the Damas vehicle and veered into the "Tanachi-Boka" canal on this street. There were no passengers in the car at the time.
The driver escaped the accident uninjured, although the car sustained technical damage. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver was intoxicated while operating the vehicle.
The Traffic Safety Department of Olmaliq City Internal Affairs Department is currently investigating the incident.
Notably, on May 21, another Damas driver lost control and fell into the Ulugnor canal in the Andijan region.
