23 people who were wanted in the Tashkent region were arrested and brought from the countries of the CIS

The employees of the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region brought 23 citizens who were wanted and were hiding in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States to Uzbekistan.  Bobur Tolaganov, press secretary of the regional Internal Affairs Department, gave information about this.

It is noted that "Zarbdor" special operational and preventive month is being held with partner organizations to prevent crimes and violations and to ensure the safety of citizens.

In particular, 56 wanted persons who committed various crimes and were hiding from the investigation, and judicial authorities were caught by the regional Internal Affairs Department and its subordinates in the direction of criminal investigation, and the inevitability of punishment and the rule of law was ensured.

Since the beginning of this year, 486 wanted persons (23 women) have been arrested as a result of the measures taken by the operatives of the regional Internal Affairs Department.

23 of the arrested people were brought (extradited) from the CIS countries, the longest one had been wanted for 20 years, and the shortest one was identified and caught in 2 days.

In addition, in 22 other regions, officially and unofficially wanted persons were caught and handed over to the initiator of the search, and 10 missing persons were found and returned to their families.
