An official explanation was given regarding the slaughter of dogs in Tashkent region

Earlier, it was reported that dozens of dogs were brutally slaughtered and skinned in one of the houses in Tashkent region.  The Regional Directorate of Internal Affairs issued an official statement regarding the situation.

It is noted that this situation was detected by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Upper Chirchik district, and additional investigations were conducted in connection with the incident.

It appears that citizen V.Kh, born in 1986, who lives in “Yassavi” neighborhood of the district, kept 25 dogs in his apartment in violation of sanitary rules and subsequently slaughtered them.

Currently, in cooperation with the District Internal Affairs Department and the Veterinary Department, relevant documents are being prepared, and the process of clarifying the number of slaughtered dogs and the reasons why the dogs were slaughtered is underway.  
It is reported that, according to the information found during these inquiries, legal action will be taken.
