The timing of the Eid al-Adha prayer is announced in Tashkent

The representative office of Tashkent city under the Board of Muslims of Uzbekistan announced the time of Eid al-Adha prayers across the country.

According to this, the Eid al-Adha prayer will be performed in the mosques of Tashkent on 9 July of this year at 05:20am in the morning.

In other regions (oblasts) and districts, taking into account the difference in prayer time, it will be carried out after sunrise.

It should be reminded that the holiday of Eid al-Adha will fall on 9 July.

In connection with the Eid al-Adha holiday, Uzbekistan citizens will have 4 days off regardless of the type of working week.  According to this:

● July 9 (Saturday) - Eid al-Adha holiday;
● July 10 (Sunday) – a day off;
● July 11 (Monday) - an additional day off for all employees;
● July 12 (Tuesday) – an additional day off for those who work in a 6-day work week, and a day off moved from July 16 (Saturday) for those who work in a 5-day work week.
