Major international figures to attend Uzbekistan’s Investment Forum

On June 9, the Tashkent International Investment Forum officially begins its work. According to Presidential Spokesperson Sherzod Asadov, the event is expected to host 8,000 delegates, including around 3,000 foreign guests from approximately 100 countries.

The forum will welcome a number of high-level foreign dignitaries, including:

- President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev
- Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico
- Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Oljas Bektenov
- Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Head of the Presidential Administration Adilbek Kasimaliev
- Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda
- Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov
- Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguli Ataguliyev
- Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen
- President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso
- President of the BRICS New Development Bank Dilma Rousseff

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also participate in the forum and deliver a keynote address. He is expected to outline Uzbekistan’s core cooperation principles and strategic directions for trade, economy, and investment, especially in the context of global security and its economic impact.

For the first time, a National Exhibition will be held as part of the forum, showcasing investment opportunities and economic potential across sectors in Uzbekistan.

In addition, the third plenary meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors under the President of Uzbekistan is scheduled for June 11.

For reference, this is the fourth edition of the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The first was held on March 24–26, 2022, followed by the second on April 27–28, 2023, and the third on May 2–3, 2024.
