Officials “flew” from their positions after the bus roof's flight

According to a report from the information service of "Toshshahartranskhizmat" JSC, several officials lost their jobs after the roofs of newly-purchased Tashkent buses fell off.  The bus driver, T.N., was severely punished and disciplinary measures were taken against other responsible employees.  This was due to their irresponsible approach to duties, insufficient instruction among drivers regarding the safe movement of buses, placement and removal of advertising banners on buses, and improper organization of work order for buses and electric buses on the routes.

In particular, the deputy directors of the "1-Bus Palace" and "2-Bus Palace" branches as well as the head of the traffic safety control department, had their employment contracts cancelled.  The branch directors were subjected to disciplinary measures.  The deputy director of the "7-Bus Palace" branch received a disciplinary measure, while the employee responsible for advertising lost their job.  The chief engineers of the "1-,2-,5-,7-,8-,12-, and 18-Bus Palace" branches also received disciplinary measures.
