Records update: USD exchange rate transcends 11,200 som in commercial banks

As reported earlier, the official rate of the US dollar in Uzbekistan rose by 34.97 som and amounted to 11 033.03 som. That is why some commercial banks continue to increase the official exchange rate of the USD day by day.
Today, 15 March, the dollar exchange rate in commercial banks have increased to 11,205 som. Now people can buy 1 dollar for 11 205 som or sell for 11 150 som.
It should be recalled that, according to predictions by the State budget of Uzbekistan, the exchange rate is expected to rise up to 11,300 som in 2022.
For reference, the official value of the US dollar against the Uzbek som has been increasing since March 3. On 11 March, the dollar’s exchange rate exceeded 11,000 som for the first time.
