Between 17 -22 July this year, the temperature in Uzbekistan will rise to 47 degrees. Sherzodkhoja Khabibullakhodjayev, head of the Hydrometeorological Service Center, provides information about this.

It is noted that due to the increase of hot air entering the territory of Uzbekistan from the regions of Iran through Turkmenistan, the air temperature during the day will be:

• From 44 to 47 degrees in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions;

• From 42 to 45 degrees in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions;

• From 41 to 43 degrees in the regions of the Fergana Valley.

In some places of the republic, the wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s resulting in dust rise.  In some places, the wind may increase to 22-25 m/s.
