A 22-year-old man has died after jumping from the roof of a 16-storey residential building in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region. The information was confirmed to QALAMPIR.UZ by Hayot Shamsutdinov, press secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to him, on January 12, a citizen born in 2004 fell from the rooftop section of a 16-storey building located in the Bog‘ishamol mahalla of the Farovon residential area in Termez and died at the scene.
A forensic medical examination has been ordered in connection with the incident, and a pre-investigation inquiry is currently being conducted by the Termez city prosecutor’s office.
It is worth noting that earlier, a woman living in one of the multi-storey residential buildings in Tashkent’s Bektemir district died after falling through an unprotected open section near the staircase on the seventh floor.
