The former governor of Termez is arrested

The former governor of Termiz city, I. Khudoyberdiyev and several other officials were arrested on charges of causing 19.7 billion soms of material damage to the state budget in 5 cases. This was reported by UzA (National Information Agency of Uzbekistan).
In the actions of these persons by the General Prosecutor's Office, Article 167 of the Criminal Code (plundering or robbery by means of fraud), part 3, paragraph "a", part 2 of Article 205 (Abuse of power or official authority). The crimes provided for in clause "a" and part 1 of Article 209 (Professional fraud) have been identified.
The former governor of Termiz I.Khudayberdiyev and a number of officials were imprisoned.
