A 19-year-old man in Sokh district of Fergana region has been sentenced to five days of administrative detention for sending obscene messages and sexually harassing a neighboring woman via the Telegram messenger. QALAMPIR.UZ reviewed the court ruling.
According to the document, on December 26, 2025, at around 4:20 p.m., a man identified as H.D., born in 2006, sent messages of a sexual nature to A.H., a resident of the “Rovon” mahalla in Sokh district, via Telegram. The messages included statements such as, “Your husband is in Russia, aren’t you afraid? If I come, we could…,” constituting sexual harassment. Following the incident, A.H. filed a complaint with a law enforcement officer and requested legal action against the individual.
On January 5 this year, the case was heard by the Sokh District Criminal Court. During the hearing, H.D. fully admitted his guilt. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which covers sexual harassment, and was sentenced to five days of administrative detention.
It is worth noting that earlier, a man born in 2007 was sentenced to five days of detention in Tashkent’s Sergeli district for committing sexual acts against a girl unknown to him.
