A 21-year-old Uzbek national was arrested in Thailand for overstaying his visa by six days, according to the Phuket Airport immigration checkpoint.

On January 29, around 10:30 AM, the Phuket Airport Immigration Service, working with local police, detained the individual for violating Thai immigration laws by exceeding his allowed stay.

The arrested man was taken to Saku Police Station for further investigation and legal action.

It is worth noting that in October 2024, a woman named “Mrs. Gumi” was arrested in Thailand, suspected of being involved in trafficking Uzbek women for prostitution.
