2861In Uzbekistan, project offices aimed at aiding entrepreneurs will be established. Yesterday, on March 14, the President approved the decision titled "Enhancing the Role of Business Associations in Advancing Foreign Trade and Regional Industry Development."
According to the decision, starting from July 1, 2024, the Trade Development Company will offer support measures based on the stability ratings of businesses.
Government subsidies and preferences allocated to boost exports align with the principles outlined in the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures (ASCM).
The Textile Support Fund under the Export Promotion Agency is currently under the temporary administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Entrepreneurship support project offices under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be established across the Republic of Karakalpakstan, various regions, and Tashkent city.
