Starting November 1, the basic monthly norms for natural gas consumption in Uzbekistan will be adjusted to align with the heating season, as announced by the press service of "Hududgaztaminot" JS.

The new monthly rates for natural gas during November, December, January, and February are as follows:

  • Up to 500 m³: 650 soums per m³
  • 501 m³ to 2500 m³: 1500 soums per m³
  • 2501 m³ to 5000 m³: 1950 soums per m³
  • 5001 m³ to 10000 m³: 2275 soums per m³
  • Above 10000 m³: 2600 soums per m³

These changes come as part of a broader adjustment to tariffs that were introduced on May 1 of this year. It’s important to note that while the tariffs for electricity for consumer groups I and II have remained stable—1000 soums and 900 soums per kWh respectively—those for gas have been modified to meet seasonal demands.

Looking ahead, it has been reported that prices for electricity and natural gas in Uzbekistan are set to remain unchanged for a minimum of three years starting in 2026, providing consumers with greater pricing stability in the coming years.
