A new law signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 5 prohibits the advertisement of medical diagnosis and treatment services using unapproved or unauthorized methods in the field of folk medicine.
Under this law, individuals without proper credentials in folk medicine are barred from providing diagnostic or treatment services, especially using non-approved methods.
Violators will face administrative penalties, including for publicly promoting these services.
The law also establishes fines for unauthorized practitioners and promoters of such services. Individuals can face fines ranging from 15 to 20 times the base calculation amount, while officials may be fined 20 to 25 times the amount.
