On October 18, approximately 3,950 residents in the Surkhandarya region were left without gas after a car collided with a gas pipeline. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

The accident occurred at 1:30 a.m. in the "Olovuddin" neighborhood of Denov district, when a Nexia-3 vehicle struck a high-pressure gas pipeline. As a result, the natural gas supply was temporarily disrupted for 3,950 residents and 20 wholesale consumers in the district.

"The issue was resolved within a few hours, and the gas supply to affected consumers was restored," the report states.

It's worth noting that a similar incident in Surkhandarya previously left around 2,000 households without gas following another car accident.
