Person was caught in Surkhandarya for attempting to illegally transfer state reserve land

A man in the Bandikhon district of Surkhandarya region has been apprehended for attempting to facilitate the illegal transfer of state reserve land. The Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office reported the incident.
According to the report, a citizen identified as M.T. gained the trust of another individual, K.I., and promised to transfer 1.5 hectares of state reserve land located in the "Polvontosh" neighborhood area of the district for 300 million sums. M.T. was caught in the act of receiving a partial payment of 100 million sums as physical evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated against M.T. under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is currently underway.
Earlier, similar cases involving attempts to illegally transfer land plots were reported in Tashkent city and Surkhandarya region.
