Horrific crime in Surkhandarya: Family murdered, house burned

A horrific crime occurred in the Uzun district of Surkhandarya on February 15, where a 42-year-old woman and her child were brutally murdered, and their house was set on fire. This tragedy was reported by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Murder in Navoi desert: dispute turns deadly

At 03:39 AM, a neighbor, Sh.E., contacted the 102 emergency service to report a fire at the house of M.R., his neighbor and informed the authorities that M.R. and her children had been killed. Upon receiving the call, an operational investigation team was dispatched to the scene by the district Internal Affairs Department.

Upon investigation, it was found that M.R. had suffered fatal head injuries, as well as injuries to her arms and legs, and was found in the middle of her house plot. Her son, O.H., born in 2010, was discovered dead in a separate room, also suffering from a head injury and a cut to his lower jaw.

The woman's two daughters, Z.H. (born 2016) and M.H. (born 2017), were also found injured and have since been hospitalized at the Uzun District Medical Association.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 97, Part 2, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code (intentional murder), and the investigation is currently ongoing.
