New prosecutor was appointed for Surkhandarya region

According to the order issued by the Prosecutor General, senior justice advisor Bakhtiyor Bekovich Bobojonov has been appointed as the prosecutor of the Surkhandarya region, as reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Before this appointment, Bakhtiyor Bobojonov served as head of the General Prosecutor's Office.

On September 19, 2019, senior justice advisor Sadriddin Abdullayevich Turdiyev, who previously held the position of Surkhandarya region prosecutor, was released from his duties.

Notably, in recent months, several high-profile appointments have taken place within the prosecutorial and legal ranks. In July, Marufkhan Khojayev, former prosecutor of the Andijan region, was appointed chairman of the board of "Hududgaztaminot" JSC. Additionally, this month, senior justice advisor Bakhtiyor Toyirjonovich Ibrohimov was appointed prosecutor of the Jizzakh region, and in September, Isroil Adhamov was named Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan. On October 24, Murodulla Abduhakimov, previously head of the Department of Control over Agrarian and Food Sector Legislation at the General Prosecutor's Office, was appointed prosecutor of the Andijan region.
