Financial rewards were announced for reporting tax violations

3811Since the beginning of this year, over 72,000 complaints regarding tax violations have been submitted, according to the information service of the Tax Committee.
From January to September of this year, the "Tax Partner" system within the "Tax" mobile application received a total of 72,517 complaints about tax violations. The breakdown of these complaints is as follows:
- 66,016 complaints were related to the failure to issue purchase receipts.
- 3,352 complaints involved businesses not accepting payments by plastic cards.
- 156 complaints pertained to inflated purchase amounts for card transactions.
- 2,99 complaints were associated with other types of violations.
Additionally, 39,757 of the appeals were not considered because they were duplicates or because investigations were ongoing at the business entities involved.
As a result of these applications, 26,400 mobile tax audits were conducted, confirming violations in 99.1% of cases.
In 25,870 instances, which accounted for 20% of the total fines imposed, 17.2 billion sums were paid to citizens who reported violations.
