A bus service will be launched from the center of the Syrdarya region to the city of Kokand through the territory of Tajikistan. This is reported by the press service under the regional transport department.

It is noted that in the near future interregional transport route “Gulistan-Kokand” (through the Republic of Tajikistan), connecting the city of Gulistan with the Fergana valley will be launched.

It is planned that transportation will be made in both directions once a day. The bus departing from Gulistan will reach the city of Kokand via the border checkpoint “Khovosobod” and “Andarkhon” near the Fergana region. Passengers must have an exit passport.

The length of this route is 264.3 kilometers, and the cost of travel is expected to be 50 (fifty) thousand som.
