More than 3,000 houses were damaged in the explosion in Syrdarya

As a result of the explosion that occurred in the warehouse of the Ministry of Defense in the residential area of Malik, Syrdarya district, more than 3 thousand nearby residential buildings were damaged.  This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

It is noted that a working group consisting of responsible representatives of relevant ministries and agencies and heads of regional sectors was formed in order to identify and eliminate the damage caused by the incident in the warehouse of a military unit in the Syrdarya district.

After this incident, neighborhoods located near the military unit were completely covered and registered.

It is known that roofs, ceilings, windows, and door frames of 3,742 residential and non-residential places were partially damaged.

Due to a number of practical measures taken, 2 thousand square meters of windows were delivered and installed to the population.  Currently, work in this regard is systematically continuing.  

It should be recalled that on 22 October, an explosion occurred in the warehouse of a military unit in the Malik settlement of the Syrdarya region.  According to the report from the Ministry of Health, 16 people were injured in the incident.
