A video about wild boars attacking residents in the Sholikor neighborhood of Syrdarya district, and people being injured as a result, was circulated on social networks. The Regional Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection gave an official response to the situation.
It is noted that the events in the video took place on 7 October 2022, in the Gulistan district of the Syrdarya region. A citizen living in that area was hunting a wild boar using his hunting weapon, he was also violating hunting rules.
Article 90, part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility stipulates an administrative fine against the citizen for the committed situation.
"We inform you that the situation in which the wild boar is attacking people in the video is a video montage and does not apply to this process," the report said.
