2.1 billion sums worth of electricity stolen by Syrdarya clinic

A medical clinic in the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region, has been found to have stolen electricity worth 2.1 billion sums. The Prosecutor General's Office has reported this development.
According to the report, the theft occurred due to external interference with the electricity meter of the medical clinic, which is affiliated with LLC "S.J." in Gulistan. As a result, the clinic stole 2.1 billion sums worth of electricity.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 4, Article 169 (theft), Clause "a" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that earlier, an employee of an electric network enterprise in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region, was involved in collusion with a farmer, resulting in the theft of 1 billion 50 million sums worth of electricity.
