Man beats young boy in Syrdarya (video)

A video showing a man using force on a young boy in the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region, spread on social media today, May 10, sparking widespread discussions. The regional Department of Internal Affairs has responded to the incident.

According to reports, the incident has been investigated by officials from the Syrdarya region's Internal Affairs Department. During the investigation, the identities of the individuals involved were clarified, and legal documents were drawn up accordingly.

Currently, the Gulistan city Internal Affairs Department is conducting pre-investigation procedures regarding the incident.

It is also worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, where an 18-year-old girl was beaten by her boyfriend after a disagreement. During the quarrel, the boyfriend injured the girl, who subsequently sought medical attention. The Investigation Department of the Mirzo Ulugbek District Internal Affairs Directorate has opened a criminal case under Article 277 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism).
