“Roma” striker Shomurodov may remain Until 2027

Uzbekistan national team striker Eldor Shomurodov is reportedly close to extending his contract with "Roma" until 2027. The news was reported by "Calciomercato".

According to the source, Shomurodov has agreed to a one-year extension of his current contract, which would keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.

It is also noted that the forward has accepted a salary reduction to remain with Roma. However, the revised salary amount has not yet been disclosed.

For reference, Shomurodov joined "Roma" from "Genoa" in the summer of 2021 in a transfer worth 18 million euros. His current contract was originally set to expire in 2026. According to "Transfermarkt", the 29-year-old forward is currently valued at 4 million euros.

This season, Shomurodov has featured in 30 matches across all competitions for the "Wolves," scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists.
