Today, July 9, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Palace of Independence in Minsk for President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Belarus. The Presidential Press Service reported this.
It was noted that the flags of the two countries were raised in the square in front of the palace, and an honor guard was lined up.
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko warmly welcomed the leader of Uzbekistan.
The national anthems were played.
The leaders walked past the honor guard and greeted members of the official delegations.
After a joint photo session, high-level talks began.
