The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, addressed citizens, especially the youth, urging them not to succumb to false propaganda regarding the Israel-Palestine issue and to refrain from engaging in illegal activities. He made this statement on October 31 during a meeting discussing hydropower projects and preparations for the autumn-winter season.

President Mirziyoyev emphasized that if violence escalates, it could result in a significant deterioration of the international situation and the involvement of new actors in armed conflicts. Such developments could lead to tragedies not only in the Middle East but also in distant regions, the consequences of which are unpredictable.

"Therefore, we call upon both parties to seek an immediate compromise for humanitarian reasons, cease hostilities, and resolve the conflict through peaceful means.

The Central Asian region in which we reside has a long history of peaceful coexistence among individuals of various nationalities and faiths.

For centuries, Muslims, Christians, and Jews have lived alongside one another in friendship and harmony on this land.

I take this opportunity today to appeal to all our fellow citizens, especially our youth, urging them not to be swayed by false propaganda and to refrain from engaging in illegal activities.

It is imperative for all of us to preserve our peaceful and tranquil way of life, as well as our unity and solidarity, which represent our greatest strength and invaluable wealth," stated the head of state.
