Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Bajram Begaj plant tree together

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Albania Bajram Begaj planted a tree together today, June 16, in the Alley of Honored Guests. The presidential press service reported this.

According to the report, the ceremony symbolized the strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries, as well as the beginning of a new stage in the development of multifaceted Uzbekistan-Albania relations.

Earlier, talks between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Albania Bajram Begaj were held at the Kuksaroy residence with the participation of official delegations.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of State noted that this summit, the first in the history of relations between Uzbekistan and Albania, was of special significance and would raise bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
