Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Türkiye tomorrow

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Türkiye tomorrow, January 29. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

According to the visit program, the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, co-chaired by the two Heads of State, is scheduled to be held in Ankara.

The negotiations will focus on further expanding the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.

Particular attention will be paid to developing political dialogue, increasing trade turnover, advancing cooperation projects in priority sectors of the economy, and strengthening transport connectivity.

Issues related to continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also be discussed. The parties will exchange views on current international and regional agenda issues.

Following the high-level talks, the signing of a substantial package of bilateral documents is envisaged.

In addition, the leaders of the two countries will participate in a number of joint events.
