Earlier, it was reported that the body of an underage girl was found in Shaxrixonsoy, located in the Andijan region. It has now been revealed that the girl was from Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the Andijan regional administration.

"It has been confirmed that the approximately 5-6-year-old girl found in Shaxrixonsoy in the Khojaabad district is from a family in Osh. A family representative from Osh confirmed through the provided photograph that the girl was indeed from their family," the statement reads.

It was also reported that the family representative is currently on their way to Khojaabad district. Efforts to support this family have been organized by the regional administration and relevant authorities.

According to Kyrgyz publications, the girl's body was handed over to the Kyrgyz side through the "Dustlik" border post. Rescuers continue to search for two women and two more girls.

For your information, heavy rain caused severe flooding in Osh region and Osh city, Kyrgyzstan, on July 14. The Toloykon village and the "Boriboy-ota" recreation area saw markets and roads submerged in water. Forty-six rescuers arrived at the scene, and 420 people stranded in the area were evacuated.

Earlier, it was reported that a bridge collapsed in the Yorqishloq village between the Khojaabad and Jalaquduq districts in Andijan region due to severe flooding.
