Today, July 31, a fire broke out in a residential building in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. The incident was reported by the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department.
According to the report, at 12:58 p.m., the Tashkent City Fire Department received a call about a fire in the attic of a four-story apartment building located on Navruz Street in the Sergeli district.
Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 1:17 p.m. The blaze was contained by 1:38 p.m. and fully extinguished at 1:59 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently under investigation.
It should be recalled that a similar fire recently occurred in the Asaka district of the Andijan region, where a car repair station set up inside a private home caught fire. One person died at the scene.
