17-year-old drowns in canal at Seoul Mun Park

On August 22, a 17-year-old boy drowned in a canal running through Seoul Mun Park in Tashkent. The incident was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, in response to a request from QALAMPIR.UZ.

According to reports, the boy, born in 2008, entered the water to retrieve his hat that had fallen into the Burijar canal and was swept away by the current. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is currently carrying out search operations in the Burijar canal.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, another young man drowned at a beach located in New Uzbekistan Park in Tashkent.
