The election results have been announced

The results of the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been announced.  This was reported by the Central Election Commission.

According to the results, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, the candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Liberal-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, was elected as the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a 7-year term with 87.05% of votes.

Also:

Ulugbek Ilyasovich Inoyatov, candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan – 4.02 percent;

Robakhon Anvarovna Mahmudova, a candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the social-democratic party “Adolat” of Uzbekistan – 4.43 percent;

Abdushukur Khudoykulovich Hamzayev, candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, won 3.74 percent of the vote.

15.6 million people, i.e. 79% of voters, voted in the presidential election.

The number of invalid votes was 117,889 or 0.76 percent.
