The “Real Sanjik” case
Earlier, another case involving “Real Sanjik” had attracted public attention. In August 2024, Sh.R., born in 1997, allegedly gained the trust of Sh.A., a woman born in 1999, by promising to marry her. Before the wedding, he allegedly told her that he had problems and asked her to temporarily pledge her house, promising to marry her after resolving the issues. He then allegedly sold the house through deception to another citizen, blogger and businessman “Real Sanjik,” for $240,000.
A criminal case was opened against Sh.R. under Article 168, Part 4, Paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code — fraud — and he was taken into custody as a preventive measure.
The preliminary investigation conducted by the Investigation Department under the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs also found that Sh.R. had allegedly committed several other fraud-related acts against other citizens.
On November 21, 2025, the trial in the case was completed. Sh.R. was found guilty of committing a crime under Article 168, Part 4, Paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to nine years in prison. He was ordered to serve his sentence in a general-regime colony.
After the case drew public attention, well-known blogger and entrepreneur “Real Sanjik,” who had purchased the courtyard house, reportedly decided to donate the $240,000 property to an orphanage. However, the Tashkent city department of the National Agency for Social Protection said the blogger had not submitted notarised documents confirming the transfer of the property.
Against the backdrop of these developments, it became known that on November 28, 2025, he had been detained on suspicion of committing crimes under Article 112, Part 1 — threatening to kill or use violence — and Article 25, Article 273, Part 2 — illegal preparation, acquisition, storage and other actions involving narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances with the intent to sell them, as well as their illegal sale.
