At an event held at the gas department of Samarkand city, cases of embezzlement were revealed. This was reported by the Samarkand Regional Department of the State Security Service.
It is noted that the operator of the Samarkand city gas department, B.O, demanded that a local citizen, A.A pay 2.5 million soms in exchange for paying off an existing debt of 5 million soms for natural gas consumption, and caught him while receiving this money.
In fact, B.O instructed that he should give the money he received from this citizen to A.O, the operator of Samarkand city gas department who came with him to the scene of the incident. This situation was formalized in a procedural manner during the quick event.
“Currently, it is planned to file a criminal case against citizens B.O. and N.Y. under Article 168 of the Criminal Code,” the report says.
