Singer killed by husband in Samarkand

On July 26, a singer named Zebo, a resident of Toyloq district in the Samarkand region, was killed by her husband. The incident was reported by “Millar.”

According to initial reports, the man had come to visit their children and got into an argument with his wife during the conversation. The disagreement escalated into a physical altercation.

It was revealed that during the fight, the man strangled his wife with his bare hands, resulting in her death.

A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder). The suspect has been detained.

As a reminder, a similar case occurred earlier in the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, where a young man stabbed his sister to death. The Chinaz District Court sentenced him to 8 years in prison under Part 2, Subparagraph “j” of Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder).
