Plane flying to Samarkand makes an emergency landing in Baku

The plane belonging to "Uzbekistan Airlines" making an Istanbul-Samarkand flight had to make an emergency landing at the airport in Baku, Azerbaijan. This was reported by "1News."

The plane landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to the sudden deterioration of the health of one of the passengers.

All services at the airport were fully prepared to respond quickly to the situation and provide medical assistance. The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Baku airport at 18:45 local time. The passenger received immediate first aid.

"The passenger continued the journey to the final destination with health improving," the report stated.

The plane took off from Baku to Samarkand at 21:07 local time.

It should be noted that it was previously reported that a plane flying from Delhi to Chicago made an emergency landing in Tashkent. On that occasion, the reason for the emergency landing was also the deterioration of the health of one of the passengers. An 86-year-old woman on the plane had a heart attack.
