Unveiling an Illicit Coffee Shop in Samarkand's Infamous 12-Story Building

A video depicting the lower floor of a 12-story building in Samarkand being utilized as a kitchen has been circulating on social media platforms. In response to this situation, the Department of Construction and Housing and Communal Affairs of the Samarkand region has taken action.
It has been confirmed that an illicit coffee shop is indeed operating on the first floor of the unlawfully constructed 12-story building.
On the 6th of July 2022, the Toylok Inter-district Court on civil cases reached a decision against the owner of the building, F.Halilov, in relaion to this structure, sparking numerous discussions. According to the verdict, the illegally erected 12-story building (which serves as a hotel) located in the "Joyisoy" neighborhood of the Samarkand district is to be demolished at the expense of citizen F. Halilov.
"The Samarkand District Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement is currently executing this court ruling. Additionally, on the 15th of May 2023, the Samarkand District Construction Department forwarded the Letter No. 414 to the Samarkand District Department of Compulsory Enforcement to ensure the implementation of the court decision," stated the department in its response.
