A father and his 13-year-old daughter died in a car accident in the Samarkand region, as reported by the Department of Traffic Safety of the Internal Affairs Department of Samarkand region.
It was reported that the driver of a Lacetti car exceeded the speed limit in the Odil neighborhood of Ishtikhan district and collided with a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, the motorcycle driver and his 13-year-old daughter, born in 2011, suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department of Ishtikhan district under Article 266, Part 3, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code (Violation of the safety rules for vehicle operation).
The driver has been taken into custody, and an investigation is currently underway.
For reference, a Nexia-2 vehicle that previously crashed into a "Volga" in Samarkand caught fire.
