In Samarkand, members of a group who wanted to send several people to the USA were caught

In Samarkand, the members of a group who wanted to send citizens to America illegally were arrested.  This was reported by the TV and radio channel of Samarkand region.

It is noted that the citizens M.Kh and Sh.Sh had been embezzling large amounts of money from several individuals, promising to send them to the USA for a long time.

In particular, they promised citizen J.X that he would be issued a Schengen visa for one of the European countries and then send him to America via the “Tashkent-Spain-Mexico-USA” route.  They demanded 27,000 US dollars from J.X.

M.X. and Sh.Shlar told him that they would give him $10,000 initially, and the remaining $17,000 after reaching the border of Mexico with the United States.  In the event carried out in cooperation with the Samarkand Regional Department of the State Security Service and the regional Department of Internal Affairs, M.Kh and Sh.Sh were caught with physical evidence while taking 10,000 dollars from the citizen J.Kh.

During the search, documents of 13 citizens affected by their illegal actions (8 passports for going abroad, 2 biometric passports, one ID card, 2 birth certificates and one marriage certificate), as well as a receipt of funds in the amount of 22,500 US dollars from another citizen N.R., in exchange for sending them to the USA was found and procedurally formalized.

According to the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, a criminal case has been initiated against these persons, and investigation is underway.
