The Samarkand–Dushanbe–Samarkand flight, operated for the past three months, has been completely discontinued due to low demand, “Asia-Plus” reported.

“The decision to terminate the route was made because the number of passengers was insufficient to continue the flights. Even during peak periods, planes were not fully booked,” Centrum Air airline stated.

According to company representatives, the decision to cancel the flights was made after careful analysis of the situation.

“At this time, there are no plans to resume flights on this route in the near future,” the airline added.

For reference, the route was first launched on July 20 of this year by Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air, with flights scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays.
