An illegal trade of about 3 kilograms of narcotics was stopped

Persons involved in the sale of narcotics were arrested in Namangan and Fergana regions. This was reported by the Information and Mass Communications Agency of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that a citizen living in Altiariq district of Fergana region and a person living in Khojaabad district of Andijan region received 1 kg 841 grams of “hashish” substance hidden in the territory of Pop district of Namangan region. These persons were caught by the State Security Service while driving a passenger car in Altiariq district.

Also, in another case, a citizen living in the city of Margilon was arrested while selling 964 grams of “hashish” imported from Kyrgyzstan for 8 thousand dollars.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these persons under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations are being conducted.
