Officially, Saida Mirziyoyeva assumes the role of assistant to the President

Saida Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva, the eldest daughter of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has been appointed to the position of assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This announcement was made by the President's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.

Prior to this appointment, Saida Mirziyoyeva served as the head of the Communications and Information Policy Branch within the Executive Office of the Presidential Administration.

For context, Saida Mirziyoyeva was born on November 4, 1984, in Kokan. She is a graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent State Law University, and holds a Master's degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University.

From 2019 to 2020, Mirziyoyeva worked as the deputy director of the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Presidential Administration. In 2020, she assumed the role of deputy chairman of the board of trustees for the National Mass Media Support and Development Fund.

Furthermore, she has been a member of the Gender Equality Commission since 2019.
