Otaboyeva also serves as Vice President for medical activities at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need. The meeting took place in Samarkand, as announced by Mirziyoyeva on her social media page.
"I am deeply honored to welcome our dear guest from fraternal Turkmenistan—respected Oguljahon Gurbangulyyevna Otaboyeva—to Uzbekistan," Mirziyoyeva wrote.
The two visited the "Inson" Social Services Center and an inclusive education center in Samarkand, where they reviewed efforts to support socially vulnerable groups and create equal opportunities for education.
"I believe this meeting will serve as a solid foundation for joint initiatives to support children and families!" Mirziyoyeva expressed.
It is worth noting that last month, Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Oguljahon Otaboyeva in the Turkmen city of Arkadag. During that visit, Mirziyoyeva also participated in the international conference titled "Year of Peace and Trust: Advancing International Activities for Children."
