Officials of the Ministry of Health who blocked the way of entrepreneurs were brought to justice

It was found that 278 officials made mistakes in the implementation of legislation in the field of entrepreneurship in the sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health service of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the legality of inspections conducted in the activities of business entities.  This was reported by the Business Ombudsman.

The following articles were noted, Article 241-2 of the code of Administrative Responsibility against 139 employees, Article 43 against 86 employees, Article 215-5 against 52 employees, Article 197-3 against 1 employee.  Administrative reports on the detected violations have been drawn up.

As a result of the conducted studies, it was determined that the employees of the service and the organizations within its system violated the rights of business entities in a total of 2,817 cases.  Also, in 1,841 cases, the legal requirements related to the inspection of business entities were violated.  Among them, the most cases of violations of the law were found in 639 cases in Samarkand region, 598 cases in Jizzakh region, and 363 cases in Namangan region.

In addition, the requirements of the law “On Appeals of Individuals and Legal Entities” were violated in 612 cases by employees of regional departments of the service when considering appeals of business entities.

In 363 cases in the field of public services to business entities, legal requirements and deadlines were not followed.

At the end of the study, a presentation was made to the head of the Service on the elimination of the identified violations of legislation in the field, the reasons and conditions that enabled them.
