Roza Kuzieva secures silver medal at the Paralympics for the second time

Uzbekistan's Roza Kuzieva secured a silver medal in the para powerlifting competition at the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics, held in France.
Kuzieva, competing in the -73 kg weight category, successfully lifted 147 kg, earning her the second-place finish at the Paralympics.
With this achievement, the total medal count for the Uzbekistan delegation has reached 25—comprising 10 gold, 9 silver, and 6 bronze medals.
It is also noteworthy that Nurkhan Kurbanova of Uzbekistan recently set a world record in the women’s F54 class javelin throw in para athletics with a distance of 21.12 meters, securing the 10th gold medal for the delegation.
